This is currently my first year at Friona High School.  I am the High School Counselor.

I previously taught at West Texas High School in Stinnett, Texas for the last 18 years.  I have taught middle school Math, Science, Health, PE.  I also coached Boys Football, Basketball, Track and Cross Country.  While I taught at West Texas High School  I received my Masters in Education degree with a high school principla certification.  I became the district wide Assistant Principal at West Texas and held this job for 7 years.  I then became the middle school principal where I was there for 3 years. 

I am married to Kelley Tucker.  We will be marrieid for 24 years on December 19. 2022.  We have 3 children.  Aaliyah, JonCarl and Caleb.  Aaliyah graduated from Texas Tech University and is a Chemical Engineer.  She is married to Justin and they have a daughter, Lana who is 1 ½ years old with Luke set to make his appearance in December.  JonCarl is a junior at WTAMU.  He is currently a thrower on the track team there.  Caleb is currently finishing his second year in the US Army.  I am very proud of my family.  

I like to spend time with family in my spare time.  Being a PAPA to Lana is the greatest.  I aslo like to  watch sports and  love the mountains
